Mrs. Willine Gibbs, Collins, MS, passed away on May 5, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.
Mrs. Gibbs embodied the true meaning of dedication and strength. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love was the steady foundation on which her family and friendships grew, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She and her husband were each other's greatest support and constant companions through life's challenges and joys.
Beyond her day-to-day job, she was a wedding planner with an extraordinary gift. She created unforgettable experiences. Her calling also poured into her unwavering faith and love of the Lord. She loved her church and served in many facets as a dedicated member, including Pastor's Aid, Choir President, and Choir member.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Gibbs
Survivors include, sons, Gregory Gibbs and Billy Ray Gibbs, Jr., daughter, Jennifer Fairley; mother, Hattie Barnes; brothers, Leo Barnes, Lee Ottis"Cookie" Barnes, Sr., sisters Cassandra Luvine, Rochelle Gardner' 2 daughter in laws; 6 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of additional family and friends.
