Mr. Willie Earl Wheeler, Collins, MS, joined the Old Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He proudly served in the United States Army and received numerous awards, such as the Air Medal, while participating in Aerial Flight in the Republic of Vietnam. He received an Honorable Discharge in December 1970. He continued his dedication to landscaping, transforming many yards and gardens into vibrant, peaceful sanctuaries.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Rita Wheeler; sister, Ophelia Wheeler, and two brothers, Joe Wheeler and Howard Wheeler.

Survivors include his children, Lee Earl Wheeler and Angie Wheeler; sisters, Martha Lattimore and Barbara Wheeler; brothers, Earnest Wheeler and Larry (Cheryl) Wheeler, grandson, Jordyn Lee Wheeler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
