Mr. Walter Lee "Hot Sherm" Sherman passed away on January 2, 2026.

Mr. Sherman was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He attended Mount Olive Attendance Center. He was a truck driver for over 30 years before retiring. He was known for his love for family and kindness, and dedication to helping others.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, Robert McNair, Jr., and Margie Sherman-Carter.
Survivors include his children, Tevin Sherman and Emil Sherman, both of Mount Olive, and Jasmine Sherman, Beaumont, TX. 6 step-children, Untalan, Las Vegas, NV, Tony McNair, Wiggins, MS, Litonda McNair, Mount Olive, Sharee McNair, Atlanta, Ga., Carlos Lee and Marcus Lee, both of D'Lo, MS, Two sisters, Earlene(Clifton)Rankin and Jerlene(Michael) Magee, both of Ft. Worth, TX; 9 brothers, Harold (Josphine) Carter, Raymond, MS, David Carter, Mt. Olive, Raymond (Shaleesha) Yates, Daniel(Veronica) McNair, Akron, Ohio, Matthew Person Twinsburg, Ohio, Aaron McNair, St. Paul, MN, Brian(Jason) McNair-Faulk,, Chicago, IL, Robert (Sabrina) McNair and Thomas (Margie) McNair, Birmingham, AL. 26 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
