Terry Davis Barnes, 49

Mr. Terry Davis Barnes passed away on October 26, 2022, from the Asbury Nursing Care Facility, Hattiesburg, MS.

 

Mr. Barnes attended Collins High School, Collins and joined Old Hopewell MBC at an early age.  He was employed with the American Field Services Corporation, Madison, MS as an operator until his health declined.  

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, L. J.. Barnes and Louis K. Barnes; paternal and maternal grandparents, Aaron Keys and Mary Lee Keys and Bilbo Barnes and Janie Barnes.

 

Survivors include his true love, Shameka Magee; children, Teriyuna Barnes, Destany Barnes, Terry Barnes, Jr.,  Jason Thompson, Jr.,and Makia Paige,  Grandson, Ja-Caden Thompson.  Brother, Eric Barnes( Keonna Young); sisters, Lisa Barnes(Willie Mickell), April Barnes( Dominic Cain), and Velisha Barnes( Sabrina Jones); Godsons, Jamie Magee Jr., and Michael Barnes, Jr; a special man who  always offered me strength and wisdom, Edward Mickell and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
