Stanley Buckley, 56

Mr. Stanley Buckley, Taylorsville, MS, passed away at his residence on March 3, 2026.

Mr. Buckley was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church, Jasper County, MS, and later became a member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist church, Taylorsville, MS. He attended West Jasper County Public Schools, where he was a standout player in basketball. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Most of his life, he worked in the Poultry Industry. He was a dedicated church usher.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Joyce Buckley; maternal grandparents, Annie Lee Bender and Buddy B. Bender; paternal grandparents, Velma Strong and Orge Strong, and Emerson Buckley, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Belinda Buckley; three daughters, Wyteshia Parrott, Forest, MS, Briana Barnes, Taylorsville, MS, and Shaquita Owens, Mendenhall, MS; two sons, Brian Barnes and Stanley J. Buckley, both of Taylorsville. Devoted father and mother, James and Bessie Buckley, Bay Springs, MS; sisters, his twin, Stephanie(Clarence) Buckley, Atlanta, Ga. and Tara (Joe) Craft, Smyrna, TN; brothers, Jamie (Vera) Buckley, Jermaine (Ylinda) Buckley, Melvin (Nicole) Bolton, Justin Buckley, all of Bay Springs, and Grayh(Natasha0 Peyton, Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends.
