Ms. Sarah Elaine McNair, 91 passed away on August 8, 2023 at South Central Regional Medical Center, Laurel, MS.
 
Ms. McNair was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant CME Church.  She had an avid passion for reading and enjoyed cooking.  Her favorite pastime was watching Westerns.  She was a graduate of Lincoln Attendance Center, Mount Olive, MS and attended Alcorn State University, Lorman, MS.
 
She was employed with Columbia Training School, Columbia, MS for a number of years; Covington County Hospital, Collins, MS, Morrison Cab Company, New Orleans, LA . as a Radio Dispatcher; Magnolia Group Home, New Orleans. After  retiring she relocated back to Mount Olive.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Estus and Sallie Gowan McNair;  siblings, Judy, Claiborne, Lawrence, Christopher, Robert "Bob" and Janie.
 
Surviviors include a dear special niece, Bridget McNair Kersh; special cousin, Andrew C. Reeves, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren;  two sister in laws, Mary Mary McNair and Martha McNair; Godson, Ivery William; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
