Ronnie Speight, Collins, MS passed away at his residence on March 30, 2024.

Mr. Speights joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later joined James Chael COGIC and then Greater Collins COGIC.  He was a faithful member until his health left him with limited mobility.  He attended Carver Central High School and later received his GED.  He furthered his education with a trade for automotive technology at Jones Junior College, Ellisville, MS.  He spent the majority of his career employed with Maulding Autos Sales and continued his career with various dealerships.  His great joy was repossessing cars.

He enjoyed cooking.  He would open the doors of his home to many throughout the years despite their circumstances or background.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezell Speights and Nancy Anderson; and sister, Shirley Speights.

Survivors include his daughters, Hilda Bournes, Raymond, MS, Pamela Speights, Stone Mountain, GA; grandchildren, Sophia Cannon(Christopher), Dallas, TX, Stephanie McNair(Shaccarra), McDonough, GA, Courtney Denham(Grace), Raymond MS, Jacob Johnson(Megan), Raymond, and Emaree Kennedy, Stone Mountain;  Sisers, Luresa Owens(Timothy), Jackson, MS, Heser McCullum (Travis), Collins, Frances Simmons (David) Picayune, MS, Gwen Hawthorne (Donnie), Collins, LaShundra Speights, Hattiesburg, MS;   brothers, Anthony Speights, Collins, Andrew Johnson ( Marsellena), Cordova, TN, Johnny Speights, Hattiesburg; a caring friend, Darlene Speights; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
