Richard Powers, 37

Mr. Richard Jerome Powers, 37 passed away August 9, 2023.

 

Mr. Powers was a 204 graduate of Camp Shelby Youth Challenge Academy.  He was employed with Navigator Transportation, Temple, TX.  He was a faithful member and vice president of the Nuboyz With Attitude Biker Club.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and James Richard Powers; brother, Jeremy Powers, uncle, Randy Powers; grandparents, Sadie and Edward Hanshaw and James and Dora Powers.

 

Survivors include,  sister, Volanda Powers, Gulfpor, MS;  God-Sister, Tawanna Harper, Gulfport; children, Kelendria Powers, Collins, Silas Pope, Gulfport, Jamarra Powers and Tina Hamilton, Killeen, TX.  Nephews, Abytai Powers, Semadjae Bryant, Willie Taylor, Jr. Jae'Shawn Johnson, all of Gulfport.  Niece, Janihya Johnson, Gulfport; 5 aunts, 9 uncles, and a host of  cousins and friends.
