Mr. Mainard Rederrick "Derrick" Winn passed away on June 27, 2026

He joined Zionell CME Church at an early age. He attended McLaurin and Magee High School, where he received his diploma from Magee High School, Magee, MS. After high school, he joined the military. He was a Specialist 4 in the Army National Guard. He was multi-talented and loved fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ida Winn; sister, Elaunda Sue Winn Rushing.

Survivors include children, LaCarlos Winn, Rosadralyn Winn, Eric Hall, Derrick Keys, Darren Hayes, and Deanna Hayes; former wife, Bobbie Faye Strickland; siblings, Pedronika Faye Winn, Charles Winn, Jr., and Alywin Darell Durr; special friend, Belinda Hayes; grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
