Mrs. Mae Ea Lewis, Magee, MS passed away on December 1, 2022
In 1971 she moved to Pomona, CA adn worked as a CNA and dietician at Lanterman State Hospital and remained there until she retired. After retirement, she relocated back to Magee, MS. She enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Booker T. and Ardella McLaurin; husband, J. C. Mangrum; daughter, Loretta Walker, sisters, Jessie Mae McLaurin and Carrie Peters.
Survivors include, a loving and dedicated daughter, Patricia Thompson; grandchildren, Vickie James, James Walker, Rasheda Becnel, Allan Cooper, Jr., and NaKeyhai King; great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Lewis attended school in Magee, MS and was a member of Mt. Moriah Church.
