Funeral services for Mrs. Louella Marie Dufrene, 85, Collins, MS( formerly of Gheens LA) will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 . The local visitation was held on Monday, May 8, 2023, 4-7PM from the Chapel at Reeves Funeral Home, Inc., Mount Olive, MS. The LA viewing was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 9AM-11AM at St. Hillary of Poitiers Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. Funeral Mass will follow the viewing and interment was at the Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Dufrene passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2023 at Landmark Care Facility, Collins, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Dufrene and Lorena P. Dufrene; husband, Leonard J. Rivere, Sr; grandson, Derek J. Rivere; brother, Calbert Dufrene; great grandchild, Baby Lepine.
Surviviors include her five children, Kirby J Rivere(Leslie), Bonnie J. Scott( Edward), Karl J. R. Rivere (Lisa), Leonard J. Rivere, Jr( Georgia), Terence J. Rivere (Tammie). Sister, Sylvia Theriot(Robert Sr), brother, Kevin A. Dufrene; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and other family and friends.
