Linda Katherine Duckworth

Ms. Linda Katherine "Sister" Duckworth, 74, Mount Olive, MS, passed away on May 24, 2026, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.

She lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, strength, and devotion to family. She was a proud alumna of Lincoln Heights and known for her warm spirit, loving heart, and unwavering love for those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ivy and Savannah Duckworth; six brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her devoted son, Pastor Tony C. Duckworth, Sr and loving daughter, India P. Duckworth, both of Mount Olive, MS; Grandchildren, Sheorroia Duckworth, Fierra Duckworth, Kendrick Duckworth, Deontavius Duckworth, Tony C. Duckworth, Jr., and Mariah Duckworth Taylor; along with a host of great-grandchildren who brought her much joy and happiness; she is lovingly remembered by two sisters, two brothers, extended family and countless friends.
