Lila (Honey) Fairley,

Mrs. Fairley joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a member even when she moved away to Illinois.  She graduated from Carver Central High School, Collins, MS where she participated in the Band.  She attended Jones Junior College and received her degree in Respiratory Therapy and was employed at Wesley Hospital for 20 years.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Judge and Effie Lee Fairley.   Sister, Bobbie Jenkins, grandson , Demetrius McInnis and her grandparents.

 

Surviviors include, children, Lisa Landingham, Hattiesburg, MS, Gertrina Pack( Archie Davis-fiance), Champaign, IL and Marquis (Shannon) McInnis, Sr., Fort Worth-San Diego, CA; brother, Billy J. Fairley, Collins, sisters, Rita L. Napier, Las  Vegas, NV and Fay Bradshaw, Collins.  13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and other family and friends.
