Pastor Larry Charles Magee, Mount Olive, MS passed away on February 16, 2024. 

Pastor Magee and his late wife, First Lady Elizabeth Owens Magee dedicated their ministry to both of his churches, Mt. Lena, Magee, MS, and New Palestine, Soso, MS.

He had a love for Christ through preaching as well as song and the added gift of guitar playing.  His musical path began with the Faithful Ridge Boys of Raleigh, MS.  He later transitioned into the quartet group, Kings of Joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gibbs Magee and Ruby Keys;  wife Elizabeth Owens Magee; sisters, Pauline Boykin, Annie L. Barnes, Geraldine Ducksworth,  Lola M. Keyes,  and Molly Page; brothers, John H. Magee, Thomas J. Keyes, and Travis Keyes.

Survivors include sons, Lee Marvin Williamson, Mark Thomas,(Dorothy), Donal Keyes(Teresa), Michael Owens, Tyrone Magee (Rochelle); daughter, Ashley Clark; sister, Martha J. Louise Keyes; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, sisters in laws, brother in laws, relatives and friends.
