Larene McGowan Keyes, 67

Mrs. Lorene McGowan Keyes, 67, Taylorsville, MS, passed away on May 18, 2026, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS.

She was employed at Warm Craft, Taylorsville, MS, for many years. She was a compassionate and loving mother and very supportive to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Keyes, and her mother, Geneva McGowan.

Survivors include sons, Carlos( April) Keyes, Gulfport, MS, and Daniel Keyes, Collins, MS; daughter, Tammy Keyes, Hattiesburg, MS; 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Shelton Ray McGowan, Collins, and Wallace Eddison, Flint, MI; and a sister Faye McGowan, Biloxi, MS; a loving aunt and uncle, Dorothy Ann Sanders and Jamison Sanders, both of Magee, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
