Mrs. Katie Bell Crosby, 80, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026.

She was a cherished daughter, a devoted mother, an adoring grandmother, and a faithful servant of God. At only 12 years old, she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, a ministry she carried with dedication throughout the years. She served faithfully as a missionary, sharing God's love through service, encouragement, and prayer. Above all else, she treasured her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie D. and Willie Mae Owens; beloved sons, Tony Owens and Curtis Crosby; siblings, Willie Gene Owens, Iva Galloway, Herman Owens, and Joyce Lott.

Survivors include her loving children, Kelly Owens, Felicia Wheeler(Kefentse0, Ben Crosby, Shameka Crosby, Yulanda Crosby. Siblings, Pearl Magee, Leroy Owens, Johnny Owens, and Michael Owens; 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, extended family members, dear friends, church family, and all whose lives she touched.
