John Larry Price, 69

Mr. John Larry Price, Seminary, MS, passed away on January 28, 2026.

Mr. Price was a hard worker at McCarty Farms and Sanderson Farms, where he was a supervisor for 22 years. He later worked at Hopewell Elementary School and finally retired from Collins Veterans Home. In honoring his extraordinary life, let us celebrate the countless moments of happiness he imparted.

He was preceded in death by his parents, S. P. and Mildred Price; brothers, Jimmy, Melvin Price, and Curtis Duckworth; sister, Ruby Jean Price; and great-granddaughter, Zoei Grave McInnis.

Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Lou Price, daughter, Tamika(Chris) Arrington, and son, John Chantell Price; grandchildren, Javarian(Tierney), Jaila(Kordell), Jamarea, Amerie, Jalay, Charisma, Sid, CJ, Jakobi; four great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Gracen, Jersen, and Kreed. Sisters, Essie Lou Gray, Carol (Robert) Lofton, and Linda Hayes BArnes; one brother, Charles ( Luvenia) Price; Sister in laws, Teresa( Ronald) Husband, Rosetta Mangrum, Lisa Wheeler,( Maurice Beck), Cindy(Ronald) Partee, Leontyne and Debbie Wheeler; three brother in laws, Larry ( Gloria) Wheeler, harry Wheeler, Ronnie(Margaret) Wheeler, and a host of niece, nephew,s and friends.
