Mr. John L. Burkett, 84, Mount Olive, MS died on April 12, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.
Mr. Burkett was a lifelong resident of Mount Olive, MS and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Olive. He was employed for many years at the former Blain Company, Mount Olive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Willie M. Burkett; son, Charles Hall; brother, Troy E. Leggett and sister Mary Leggett.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Barnes Burkett; daughter, Jonell"Peaches" Burkett, both of Mount Olive and a host of close family members and friends.
