Jalen RaShod Hayes, 25

Mr. Jalen RaShod Hayes, 25, passed away at his residence in Covington, TN.

Mr. Hayes graduated from Mize Attendance Center, Mize, MS, in 2019. After graduation, he started his first job at Solar Planet, Taylorsville, MS; later becoming employed with Wal-Mart, Magee, MS. He was also employed with RES Company, working with Solar Panels. He enjoyed his job and considered his co-workers his "work family". He was a hardworking young man and took pride in not missing work or arriving late. He loved sports, especially basketball. He was a true "LeBron James" fan. He loved his family and was always full of energy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommie Ray Hayes and Helen Ruth Hayes.

Survivors include his mother, Helen D. Hayes, Mount Olive, MS; father, Bobby Ray Gibbs, Collins. Siblings, Desmond McCoy, LaShelle Gibbs, LaShaun Gibbs, Bobby Gibbs, Jr., Danny Gibbs, Henry Gibbs, Jeremiah Gibbs, Isaiah Gibbs, Xavier Gibbs, and Tzuriel Gibbs, and one grandmother, Naomie McFarland, Collins, MS, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.

Pastor Leonard Keyes presented Word of Encouragement.
