Mr. J. P. "Pete" Page passed away at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS, on July 29, 2025.
Mr. Page left a legacy with a testament to a life well-lived. Lessons taught, both spoken and unspoken, will continue to shape the hearts and minds of all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Rankin Page; wife, Mary Smith Page; and second wife, Vera Mae Fairley Page. Siblings Lucy Ellen, Gladys Adams, Francis, Annie Lou, May Jewel, Lawrence, Jr, and Clarence Page.
Survivors include children, Ethel Dennis, Larry and Shirley Page, Darryl Gethers, Carol Walker, Alice Faye and Stephon Johnson, Rite Johnson-Amaker, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pastor Steph Johnson, New Shady Grove Baptist church, North Carolina, was the Officiant and son of Mr. Page.
