Mrs. Geraldine Ward Womack, 74, Magee, MS, passed away on January 30, 2025, at her residence.
Mrs. Womack devoted her life to Christ and was a lifelong Methodist, and grew up in the Zionell CME Church family. She graduated from Scott High School, Toledo, Ohio. She was employed as a manager at McDonald's, at Village Fish House, she worked in Food Services, and she was also employed with Boswell Regional Center until her health failed. She enjoyed fishing, driving her cars and was an accomplished seamstress. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed the blessings of being called "Grandma".
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Sadie Ward; grandparents, Earvin and Mamie Barron. Brothers, Lee Arthur Ward and Ray Ward; sisters, Johnnie Mae Ward and Christine Burt.
Survivors include, her devoted husband of 58 years, Billy C. Womack; children, Calvin (Dorothy) Womack, Dwayne (LaDonna) Womack, Helen Hayes, Diamond Womack, Joshua Womack, and Precious Womack; brother, Ricky (Denise) Ward; 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Active Pallbearers: Joshua Womack, Omar Conley, Leshawn Holloway, Tony Tatum, Carlos Watson, and Robert Dale Craft.

Pastor Eddie Cole was the Eulogist. Prayers were offered by Dr. Bernard Mitchell and Pastor James Rankin. Words of Encouragement to the family were offered by Pastor Willie Hobbs, and Classmate W. O. Craft brought words of sympathy to the family.
