Mr. Dominic Mandozer Barnes passed away at Covington County Hospital, Collins, MS, on September 29, 2025

Mr. Barnes was a graduate of Collins High School, Collins. He was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed sports and working on cars. He was very outgoing and had a kind heart and a great sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Jerry Barnes, Sr, and Hattie Barnes; wife, Maxine Barnes; brother, Jerry Barnes, Jr.

Survivors include son, Juwan Barnes, Collins; brothers, Donald Barnes, Somerset, KY, and David Barnes, Collins; grandchildren, Kaiden Ducksworth and Journee Barnes. Aunts, Betty Price, Collins, Ever Buckley, Stringer, MS, and Flora Agee, Collins. Nieces, Angela Preston and Shakera Barnes; nephews, Dustin Barnes and David Barnes Jr., and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
