Dexter Miyagi Williams, 36

Mr. Dexter "Miyagi" Williams, 36, Gulfport, MS ( formerly of Collins, MS), passed away on May 15, 2025, in Gulfport, MS.

Mr. Williams was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him. He touched many lives through his laughter, compassion, and unwavering loyalty. He touched countless lives in many ways. He had a deep love for family and friends.

He was a 2007 graduate of Collins High School, Collins, MS, as a Mississippi Scholar. He was employed as a Longshoreman in Gulfport.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Mayes.

Survivors include his mother and father, Sheila Mayes and Jerry Williams; children, Dallas Williams, Kylan Davis, Dante Holland, and Miguel Williams; three sisters, Jasmine Williams, Jerrica Williams, and Joshae Williams; brothers, Bryan Mayes and Derrick Mayes; grandmother, Lavern Mayes and a host of cousins and friends.
