Delbert Wayne Yoss

Mr. Delbert "Wayne" Yoss,  Mount Olive, MS ( formerly of Decatur/Geneva, Indiana) and former resident of LaFourche Parish, LA. for 47 years. He was currently a resident of Mount Olive, MS at his passing. A memorial service will be held in Indiana at a later date. Reeves Funeral Home, Inc. Mount Olive, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

He was a man of many talents, including a fisherman, gun enthusiast and woodworker. He worked in the oilfields for 27 years and at local shipyards for 5 years. He was a security guard with Southern Guard for 10 years before retiring in 2020. Hre lied to teach his children and grandchildren how to fish and fun safety as well as target practice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Garfield Yoss and Treva Dailey Yoss; sister, Marilyn Beeler, brother, Ronald Yoss and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sharon LeBlanc Yoss, son Jon Omar Yoss(Jessica), daughter, Holly Yoss Billiot( Kevin); 7 grandchildren, Brynnigan Wertz(Ryan), Hunter Marie Yoss, Logan Yoss, Chloe Yoss, Patroclus Billiot, Seth Yoss, Skylar Yoss; sister, Carol Teeple ( Richard); sister in law, Monica Matherne, loyal dog companion, Shadow. Great Grandchildren, Hunter Wertz, Summer Wertz, and Jasik Wertz.
