Mr. Charles E. Jenkins, Collins, MS, passed away on January 30, 2026.
Mr. Jenkins received his early education in the Covington County School System and proudly graduated in 1970. He grew up surrounded by family, faith, and the values that would shape the man he became. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He traveled extensively around the world, dedicating many years of honorable service before retiring. He was committed to discipline and a sense of duty throughout his military life and beyond.
Mr. Jenkins leaves to cherish his memory his only son, Timothy Rudy Harris, Collins, MS who he shared a bond of love and meaningful moments with; sisters, Betty J. Jenkins, Laurel, MS, Margie (Greg) Carter, Erie, PAS, Shanita Jenkins, Mobile, AL, and Teresa Jenkins, Biloxi, MS. Brothers, Johnny Jenkins, Collins, Lemuel Jenkins, Biloxi, and Adrian Jenkins, Panama City, FL. Granddaughter, Khadijah, and grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
