Carolyn Nobles Doby, 68

Mrs. Carolyn Nobles Doby, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2026.

Mrs. Doby was a graduate of Mendenhall High School, Mendenhall, MS. After graduation, she began her career at Magee Apparel and later transitioned to Hillcrest Nursing Center until her retirement.

She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She grew spiritually, found comfort in God's promises, and was lovingly encouraged to seek a relationship with Jehovah and to embrace His teachings. She was a devoted woman, a loyal wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was being with those she loved. Her warmth touched every life around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Leotha Nobles; siblings, Mattie Walker and Lowry Nobles.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years Calvin E. Doby; daughters, Candice Doby-Lewis( Cedric) and Courtney Doby, all of Mt. Olive; sons, Charlie Brown, Jackson, MS and Christopher K. Doby, Mt. Olive; grandchildren and great grandchildren and one brother, Stanley Nobles, D'Lo, MS and one sister, Dorine Boykins, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Brother Nathaniel Easterling was the Program Guide. Brother Joe Adams was the Officiant.
