Carol Lynn Stapleton, 55

Mrs. Carol Lynn Stapleton passed away on March 24, 2024.

Mrs. Stepleton was a member of the True Bible Church, Mendenhall.   She was educated at Mendenhall High School but later transferred to Albany, GA. Job Corp, where she received a trade degree as a CNA.

She was preceded in death by her father,  James Clyde Shaw; brothers, Patrick W. Shaw and Jimmy C. Shaw, Jr.  

Survivors include her children, Jerry Stapleton, PA, Davita Shaw-Lewis (  Jimmie), Braxton, MS, Tarissa Shaw-Norwood( Donnie, Jr), Mendenhall, and Yesha Stapleton, Goodman, MS.  12 grandchildren, her mother, and father, Willie Sue Burkett(Leroy), Braston; brothers, Jerry Burkett(Mary), Mendenhall, Robert Burkett (Dionne), D'Lo MS, Otis Wynn(Sharlette), Jackson, MS,  and Lee Burket, Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
