Benny Franklin Courtney

Mr. Benny Franklin Courtney passed away at Gulfport Memorial Hospital, Gulfport, MS on September 27, 2024

He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. The family is wishing him happy fishing in Heaven. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Courtney and Joann Rome Smith; sister, Grace Smith, brother, Jimmy Courtney, Reno, NV and nephew, Derek Rivere.  

Survivors include his children, Andrew (Brittany), Foss, OK, Archuleta and Kylie Dyer, Oklahoma City, OK, Christina Berry, Brandon, MS; six grandchildren, Alyssa Beanna, Paisley Harper, Mason Wyat and one on the way.

One sister, Tammie Rivere( Terence), Mount Olive, MS; step brother, and sister, Glenda Vickers, Pearl, MS, Van Latham (Buddy) Puckett, Puckett,MS, Charles Larry Latham(Buster) Granada, MS, Cornelia Puckett, MS, Susan, Puckett, Puckett, MS, James Edward, Puckett, MS, D J(Jack), Hammnd, LA, Tabitha (Chance) Hall, Mount Olive, Katie Knight, Kristie Hughes, Palace, Halse, PA. Nephews, Michael Courtney, Dustin Miller, and Jake (MJ) Rivers, all of Mount Olive. Two cousins, Selena and Jessica, Picayune, MS and a host of many other family and friends.
